1. About BEMRG

BEMRG (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a membership platform providing tools, resources, and guidance for professionals working towards Net Zero Carbon buildings. By accessing or using our platform at bemrg.com, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a professional, organisation, or student working in or studying the built environment to use our services. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Membership & Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at info@bemrg.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in a manner harmful to other members.

4. Subscription Plans & Payment

BEMRG offers paid membership plans (Annual and Three-Year) billed in GBP. All payments are processed securely by Paddle, our authorised Merchant of Record. Paddle’s entity handles billing, taxes, and compliance on our behalf.

  • Subscriptions begin on the date of purchase and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Prices displayed are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
  • We may update pricing with at least 30 days’ advance notice to existing members.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your member portal or by contacting us at info@bemrg.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to member resources until that date.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials or membership access with third parties.
  • Reproduce, distribute, or sell any content or tools from the platform without our written consent.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes on others’ rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the BEMRG platform — including tools, reports, guides, and assessments — is owned by or licensed to BEMRG and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your membership grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own professional purposes during your active subscription.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The tools and resources provided are for informational and professional guidance purposes only and do not constitute legal, regulatory, or engineering advice. We endeavour to keep content accurate and current but make no warranties as to its completeness or fitness for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BEMRG’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered members by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
